Latest Update News About Mean Girls Quotes. Mean girls 2, mean girls, lacey chabert, freaky friday, sickopedia. Mean Girls is undeniably the ultimate stereotype for high school. Quotes from this undying movie are heard everywhere. Popular girls are referred to as Regina, Karen, or Gretchen (mostly by the unpopular girls). Yearbooks, more often than not, have been adapted into a high schoolers personal burn book. But the stereotype that is epitomized the most from Mean Girls is the excessive, but not so farfetched nastiness. The girls are horrible to one another, whether through spreading rumors, or stealing each others crushes. The teenagers North Face Breast Cancer Black Jackets in Mean Girls are portrayed as life ruiners, they ruin lives.

So why do I propose Mean girls to be the ultimate stereotype? Well, most high schools arent like that. I mean, the girls arent as open about the gossiping, and meanness. This may be my sheltered Christian private school mind talking, but I think girls are a lot sneakier. For example, in Mean Girls all the teachers know how awful Regina is to everybody. Personally, I see the meanest girls in the school, sucking up to teachers, and in turn, the teachers foolishly flattered by the attention. The North Face Women's Pink Ribbon Denali Anyway, lets move on. Ive recently wandered into a counselors office, and as if the universe planned to humor me in the best possible way, a Mean Girls DVD was placed neatly in a bookshelf. This movie was also showed back in my middle school, and it just makes me wonder, do the teachers really think showing this movie is going to help anything. Many times when I walk into the lunchroom, my mind instantly goes back to the seating chart that Janice had made for Cady. But, in reality, the lunchroom isnt like that. Popular girls sit at a variety of tables, and no one table is superior to all the others. In addition, people shift tables all the time. Nothing is set in stone like the North Shore cafeteria.

But, most importantly, the popular girls at most high schools are not life ruiners. They arent as mean, and cruel, and awful as Mean Girls portrays their main characters. Sure, everyone can be mean sometimes, and popular girls certainly arent subjected from this. But I believe that the mean things they do are more open, because everyone knows everything about them. Everyone wants to be them, to be the it girls, so in all truth, they never really get a day off. Im not going to lie, in some cases, the popular girls are just mean, and there is really nothing the rest of us can do to change that. In addition, the popular group is a lot bigger than the three girls who rule in Mean Girls.

You may totally disagree with my whole Mean Girls stereotype interpretation. And thats totally fine with me. I guess what Im really trying to say is this; everyones high school and high school experience is different, there is no exact mold that fits every high school, which I see Mean Girls as. I believe that if you take the little bits and pieces of Mean Girls that applies to your high school, you can start to navigate a little better through the treacherous world. High school is like Hell, lets face it, and the sooner we separate fact from fiction, the easier it will be to survive the burn.
